Alastair McDougall is a contemporary artist based in Cwmbrân, Wales, with over a decade of professional painting experience after a 40-year career leading People and HR functions he turned to art full time.

I began by painting what I saw, then, realisation that my emotions flowed into those scenes, I let my energy and desire for colour flow.

My intention is that each painting be interesting for itself, one that invites viewers to wander and wonder.
